Earth Rules
YSLA takes pride in putting the environment above all. We implement eco-sustainability practices that support local growers, farmers
and fisher folk. By providing a sustainable livelihood for all, we hope to eliminate the need to destroy more of our resources.
The entire beach camp strictly enforces proper waste segregation, waste reduction, and recycling and upcycling solutions to manage
our carbon footprint.
Most of the materials used to build the resort are eco-friendly, such as bamboo, coco lumber, mahogany, amacan, and rattan.
By building bell tents, we are reducing our impact on Camiguin’s natural surroundings.
Trees that were pruned in the building of the resort were repurposed into furniture and décor.
We practice low energy consumption by using only light emitting diode (LED) bulbs.
When in YSLA, you are encouraged to observe the same eco-minded practices, and we hope that you bring these with you wherever
you go.
